Mii's: From NES to Wii

Mii's are a bit part of Wii, but I bet you didn't know just how long they have been planning them. Since the Gamecube era? No. Since the N64 era? No. Then how far back? Watch the video below to find out:

The "Wii Would Like to Play" Song

I'm sure you've all seen the Wii Would Like to Play commercials. They include two Japanese guys going to random places saying "Wii Would Like to Play". The original few, which you can see in the video below, showcased various Wii games and they later came out with other "Wii Would Like to Play" commercials for Mario Party 8, Mario Strikers Charged, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and other games. If you haven't seen any of them, which I find unlikely, watch an extended commercial below:



The reason I posted this is because of the music in the commercials. I came across a link to the actual guys that play the song. The artists are known as the Yoshida Brothers and the song is called Kodo. It is really cool and you can watch/hear it below:



I enjoy the music and I look forward to hearing more "Wii Would Like to Play" commercials with this music in it.

DS Opera Web Browser Video Review

The DS Web Browser is out in the US, so I figured I'd post a video review of it. This particular video review is from March and they are using what I think is the European version. I'm pretty sure there aren't any differences between the European versions and the US version. So, here is the video review:

Super Mario Bros. Z episode 1

You may have heard of it, or you may have not, but there is a fanmade video project that has been going on for a while now and it's awesome: Super Mario Bros. Z. It's a Dragonball Z-esque series about Mario and Sonic teaming up, along with a few others like Luigi and Shadow, to take on a powerful villain. Yes, it's fanmade. Yes, it's awesome. I've been posting a lot of fanmade things recently and that's because there are people out there that truly have talent. As far as I know, Super Mario Bros. Z is up to episode 6, so I'll be posting one episode a day. Here is episode 1, "Bowser's Return":

Nintendo's Full Wii Commercial

I was checking out YouTube and it seems that Nintendo has their own account under the name Wii. They posted the full Wii commercial there. I'm sure many of you have seen the individual commercials and possibly the full one, but I thought I'd post it anyways.
